IHP 501 Final Project Milestone Two

The Clean Water Act (CWA) of 1972, is a policy providing a structure water composition and a quality standard for surface waters (lakes, rivers). It has several sections which include waste water standards for industries, “standards for contaminants in surface waters, and the need for permits to discharge pollutants into navigable waters” (EPA, 2017).
