Reflective Essay. In order to obtain a more proper and in-depth picture of myself, to know more about my invisible incentive and how I appear to the members of my team as well as to establish a comprehensive understanding of the influencing factors of the group process and performance, this reflective essay is conducted by using group work logs, the self-evaluation on reflective practice and feedback from lecturers critically and significantly. Firstly, I reflected by logs and self-evaluation. Secondly, I elaborated what I have learned from other group members. Finally, I achieved development from exports’ feedback.

Reflective Essay

First of all, by means of the group work logs (see Appendix 1) and the self-evaluation on reflective practice (see Appendix 2) (I only got 72 scores, which means there is much room on reflection for improvement), I found it is not easy to challenge my own thinking as I always thought it is difficult to come up with an unique idea. Once I figured out one, I could hardly to wait to describe it to my team members and want them to accept it. I could never have imagined that my self-righteousness would result in their confusion of my idea. For example, I thought ‘sailing’ was quite suitable for our worldwide alcohol event. However, some of my team members did not understand me. In addition, I spent insufficient time thinking about the effects of my actions and behaviour. I was responsible for coming up with the event schedules and entertainments as well as producing the Power Point.
